Clip-On Thermal Imaging System
A compact thermal imaging platform designed to add thermal awareness to selected compatible night vision systems.
Follow development
Preliminary specifications. Final production specifications may change.
What the platform enables
Thermal detection
Identify thermal contrast that may be difficult to distinguish with night vision alone.
Retain night vision
Designed to complement the user's existing night vision image rather than replacing it.
Compact system
A small dedicated module designed around night vision integration.
High-resolution thermal imaging
The current development platform uses a 640 × 512 thermal sensor architecture.
Night vision, with thermal awareness added

Common questions
What is a COTI?
A clip-on thermal imager. It is a thermal imaging module intended to work together with a night vision system, so thermal information is added to the view instead of replacing it.
Does it replace my night vision device?
No. The product is designed to complement compatible night vision equipment. You continue to look through your night vision system.
Which night vision systems is it compatible with?
Designed for selected compatible night vision platforms. The general category includes commonly used monocular and binocular systems such as PVS-14 style, PVS-31 style and BNVD-style platforms. Confirmed compatibility will be published as validation progresses.
Is the product available?
Not yet. The KV-640 is in development. Development updates are published as the platform progresses.
What does it cost?
Pricing has not been set. Our objective is professional capability at a rational price, achieved through engineering rather than reduced quality.
Where is it developed?
Product development, engineering and system integration are led from Denmark.
